Erick Rowan has reportedly signed a new contract with WWE.

Per Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Erick Rowan has officially signed a new deal with WWE. Additional details were not provided, so further information is unclear at this time.

Rowan signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2011. He is a two-time SmackDown Tag Team Champion and former RAW Tag Team Champion. Rowan also won the NXT Tag Team Championship with Luke Harper. Rowan previously had a memorable run in WWE as a member of The Wyatt Family. He and Harper also teamed up as the Bludgeon Brothers. Rowan later had a run alongside Daniel Bryan. WWE released him in a wave of cuts in 2020.

He made a one-off return on the August 25, 2023, episode of WWE SmackDown, as the show paid tribute to Bray Wyatt after he passed away.

During his time away from WWE, Erick Rowan has been somewhat active on the independent scene. He has also made a few appearances for AEW.

There is no word on when Erick Rowan is set to return to WWE. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
