Manchester United’s Ella Toone attracts interest from Spanish giants

Manchester United Women star Ella Toone is being linked with a summer move to Barcelona.

Toone, who scored a sensational goal in Sunday’s 4-0 win over Tottenham in the Women’s FA Cup final, has reportedly caught the eye of the Spanish club.

No formal approach has been made as of yet, but Barcelona are believed to be weighing up a move for her at the end of the season.

After winning the FA Cup, Toone will surely want to continue lifting trophies at United – a club she’s supported all her life, rather than jump ship for Barcelona.

Toone is a fans’ favourite not just for supporters of the women’s team, but for the Lionesses too.
